Dear Modern Latinas,

It has been awhile since we sent a Modern Latina eNewsletter.  We have been busy coming up with new stories to bring you in 2008 including a feature story on Dolores Huerta.

It is such an honor to feature an interview with Dolores Huerta.  She is an activist, leader, and one of the most influential Latinas of our time. Working alongside Cesar Chavez, she helped to create and form the United Farm Workers organization.  She continues to make a difference in the community through the Dolores Huerta Foundation.  She is a hero and a true inspiration for Latinas.

Lastly, April 22nd marks the observance of Earth Day.
